Composer, Pianist & Orchestra Conductor
Lucía Moreno Sanz has accompanied opera singers in a hundred recitals through Spain, Norway and France. She began to study piano when she was seven years old. In 2007, at nineteen, she graduates with Honors in vocal accompaniment at Córdoba High Conservatory (Spain) and starts her career as accompanist. Her love for vocal coaching, opera conducting and lieder accompaniment moved her to Vienna to attend master classes at the University of Music and Performing Arts with Brenda Rein, vocal coach of tenors Deon van der Walt and Johan Botha. Meanwhile, she goes on studying Composition in Córdoba and Orchestra Conducting at the Madrid Royal Conservatory (Spain).
In 2011 & 2012, after graduating in Composition and Orchestra Conducting, she passed the auditions to attend the Master i utøving- Operarepetitør in Oslo, a Master sponsored jointly by Den Norske Opera og Ballet, the Operahøgskole and the Norges Musikkhøgskole.

At the same time, she took masterclasses at the Bergen Répétiteur Academy with Mikko Franck, General Music Director of the National Finnish Opera. Then, after attending masterclasses with Malcom Martineau in lieder acommpaniment, she took part in many concerts in Norway as well as in the Oslo Opera Festival.
Throughout his career, she has performed as accompanist and chamber pianist in more than one hundred recitals in Spain, France and Norway accompanying well known artists not only from the opera world [soprano Ainhoa Arteta or tenor Ismael Jordi] but also pop and flamenco stars (David de María, Estrella Morente, David Lagos, Manuel Lombo) as well as the most promising opera singers in the Spanish, Icelandic and Norwegian scene (Pablo García-López, Ingunn Kilen, Mari Askvik , Kari Kleiven, Eira Sjaastad Huse, Iva Thorarinsdottir, Astrid Nordstad...)
Lucía has composed and published a dozen works for choir, vocal quartet, voice & piano, and ensemble. One of them, commissioned by Unesco Spain, was premiered in Barcelona and two more in Rennes (France). The norwegian soprano Eira Sjaasstad Huse has premiered some of Lucía's lieder, with Lucía herself at the piano, in Córdoba (Spain) and Oslo (Norway). Lucía is an active chamber pianist and vocal coach .
In 2014 she was awarded by the Spanish Youth Institute (INJUVE) to release her vocal works in Oslo. Since then she has held part and full-time posts as piano accompanist in several conservatories from Andalusia (Lucena, Jaén, Fuengirola and Córdoba) as well as posts as Orchestra & Band Conductor in conservatories from Madrid-Spain (Alcalá de Henares and Getafe)
At present she holds a permanent post at the chair of piano accompanist for saxo in the Córdoba High Conservatory sharing this job with her artistic activity and with private vocal coaching of professional singers.

Tras acabar Piano con matrícula de honor en acompañamiento vocal e instrumental, cursa Composición en Córdoba y Dirección de orquesta en el Real Conservatorio Superior de Madrid. Durante ese tiempo perfecciona su técnica con María Encarnación Reina, profesora de piano del Conservatorio de Córdoba y asiste también, en la Universidad de Música y Artes Escénicas de Viena, a las clases magistrales de correpetición de ópera de Brenda Rein, repertorista de los difuntos tenores Deon van der Walt y Johan Botha.
En 2012 fue la única persona seleccionada por la Academia Noruega de Música para formarse como repertorista profesional durante dos temporadas en la Ópera Nacional y en la Academia Nacional de Artes de Oslo dentro del Máster de Correpetición de Ópera impartido conjuntamente por las tres instituciones.
Allí recibe clases magistrales de acompañamiento de lieder del pianista Malcom Martineau y realiza una estancia en la Academia de repetidores de Bergen para recibir clases magistrales de correpetición de Mikko Franck Director de la Ópera de Finlandia.
Desde su regreso a España en 2014 ha actuado como repetidora, arreglista, pianista y directora musical en diversos teatros (Villamarta de Jerez, Calderón de Valladolid, Maestranza de Sevilla, Palacio de Congresos de Granada, Teatro Cervantes de Málaga, Auditorio de Murcia, Gran Teatro Falla de Cádiz, Cartuja Center de Sevilla, Gran Teatro de Córdoba, Palau de la Música de Barcelona) acompañando y dirigiendo no sólo a artistas del mundo lírico [Ainhoa Arteta o Ismael Jordi] sino también a estrellas del pop y del flamenco (David de María, Estrella Morente, David Lagos o Manuel Lombo)
En cuanto a su labor docente, ha desempeñado la tarea de pianista acompañante de instrumento en varios conservatorios de Andalucía (Lucena, Jaén, Fuengirola y Córdoba) así como la dirección de la Banda y la Orquesta de los conservatorios de Getafe y Alcalá de Henares (Madrid).
Profesora de piano por oposición, actualmente ocupa la cátedra de pianista acompañante de saxo y oboe en el Conservatorio Superior de Córdoba donde continúa simultaneando su labor pedagógica con la actividad artística así como con la preparación del repertorio de cantantes profesionales.
